SOS DJIBOUTI. 2013

Energy audit and feasibility assessment of the Tadjoura and Balballa sites that forecasted electricity and energy consumption patters for SOS Children’s Village International (SOS). From the findings, ASD designed a hybrid solar PV system.
MALEK ACADEMY. 2013

ASD conducted a feasibility study on the potential for utilizing solar PV to power base telecommunication stations (BTS) as well as the communities surrounding them in Tanzania.
GIZ TURKANA. 2014

ASD was hired by GIZ to perform a feasibility study for the implementation of a solar hybrid mini-grid pilot project in Turkana.
AFD KENYA. 2013

ASD conducted a feasibility study for the off-grid retrofitting program of Agence Française de Développement (AFD). This study evaluated financial and technical needs, maximized the renewable energy penetration rate, and identified the energy access and energy efficiency for the program.
RURAL ENERGY SERVICE. 2014

ASD was hired by the Entergy and Environment Partnership (EEP) to conduct a feasibility study on the development of a rural Energy Service Company (ESCo) to cater for the energy needs of both off-grid telecom base stations (BTS) and communities around them.
DEGINVEST. 2013

ASD provided a full energy audit and feasibility assessment of solar PB hybrid systems. The ultimate objective of the project was to green the hospital, cut energy costs, and install Tanzania’s first grid connect PV System.
INTASAVE. 2013

ASD conducted a study for INTASAVE targeted at enhancing the ability of small-scale solar technologies to provide real economic opportunities for communities to engage in income-generating activities as well as enjoying the social, health and lifestyle improvements that solar home systems offer
ARIYA CAPITAL. 2015

This project provides an end-to-end cost-effective, low-risk renewable energy generation and energy efficiency service to flower and horticultural farms in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
SINCRO SITE WATERCH. 2011

ASD conducted a feasibility study on the potential for utilizing solar PV to power base telecommunication stations (BTS) as well as the communities surrounding them in Tanzania.
ELEWANA AFRICA. 2011

ASD provided an energy audit and solar PV system design for four on and off-grid sites for Elewana Africa. Solar PV mini-grid and solar water heating system designs were proposed based on Elewana Africa’s energy needs and their desire to have long-term stable solar energy supply.
CCBRT DISABILITY HOSPITAL. 2011

ASD provided a full energy audit and feasibility assessment of solar PB hybrid systems. The ultimate objective of the project was to green the hospital, cut energy costs, and install Tanzania’s first grid connect PV System.
UNITED NATIONS FOUNDATION. 2016

ASD undertook a comprehensive mapping, baseline study and development of a sustainable maintenance and management program for off-grid energy systems at health facilities in four countries for the United Nationals Foundation (UNF).
DfID. 2014

ASD was hired by the UK Department for International Development (DfID) to run a market diagnostic and identify feasible options for the design of the inception phase of Energy and Resource Efficiency in Somaliland.
